Hidden Motives: PART 1 (Synopsis by the Channel Creator)

    In the opening of the video I mention how sometimes we have to take a step away from a case to come back with a fresh perspective. Almost 4 years in and I still go back and forth on what I believe actually happened ALTHOUGH I do believe we are getting closer and I can't wait to share my main theory in PART 5! Let's get started with Heads Carolina... the video that launched the channel TheHouseHuddle! 

The video recalls what seems to be some random comments being made yet something stood out to me after watching the body cam footage again. The officer is speaking with Chris and running through the many possibilities and one thing he questions Chris about is her parents or family. Chris replies "they live in NC, across country, yeah so that's not happening". Reread that comment again. In coming posts I will dive more into this line than ever before. (PART 5 is currently being finalized and edited).

Next I approach the questions raised by her family. I will say here as I did in the video that a family's silence is not an indicator of guilt in any way. There are so many grieving over this case and the loss of this precious family. Grief looks different for everyone and when you add that to outlying factors it can consume someone. I mention the previous divorce of Shanann and HER comments on that marriage. The full interview with her ex husband can be found in the full discovery. It is a highly redacted discovery but I do strongly encourage those of you really interested in this case to take the time, download, and read through the discovery. It's not something you can do in a day. There is so much and yet not enough of anything to produce answers rather more questions.

This video also discusses the search conducted by Kessinger, the mistress of Chris Watts. She searched this family long before she ever claims to have "met" Chris. This is one of two things... a blatant lie or an alarming red flag that should have grabbed law enforcement's attention. Sadly, I don't believe they even had time to read through everything before they shut down the investigation. I do know for a fact that the DA did CONFIRM that it was NOT an error and that Kessinger did in fact search both Shanann and Chris Watts. There is a great video on this with Hidden Motives: PART 3. 

I do share a hint of my own personal story but quickly dive back into observing a video where Shanann is baking and the mean faces begin to show up in her LIVE. This is the part of the video where the feedback was more about how loud the music was (It was my very first video) and she had her own music going and jamming out. Due to copyright issues I wanted to make sure that wasn't a problem. I may in the future upload this video again without the music :) During this video Shanann notices someone leaving mean faces and you can visibly see her demeanor shift. Did she know this person? Did it simply catch her off guard? Was it an accidental angry face? or Could this have been how the mistress learned SO much about this couple and family? What are your thoughts?

Now this leads us into one of the controversial statements given to Law Enforcement. That is this conversation between Shanann and an attorney at a Hibachi restaurant. Keep in mind this interview was conducted prior to this case being sensationalized in the media. The dates back to this interview was March 2018. You will hear this date pop up quite often in this case. In my opinion this is VERY important to

this case! Yet as of today I have NOT been able to find the paper with the date on it in discovery. Was this a piece of evidence that was simply not ever followed up on due to the plea agreement?Would this man be willing to share that car rental receipt with the YT creators? This time period of March 2018. I would 100% like to know what was the date? I encourage you to listen to the interview, objectively, and listen to the tone and what feels like genuine empathy for her as an attorney. Shanann was no doubt doing her homework.
